Rare type of human that is the result of an angel and a devil mating. Is neither all good nor all bad, so ends up human; however, inherets wings from each parental. Most humans cannot see these wings, but the possessor is forever aware of them. In Annel's case, it has driven him to be as weird and wild and not-normal as possible. He works hard at gaining success through cutting edge, confrontational art. Until by chance he meets Ijel, of a like nature but driven to the opposite extreme... and their lives both change radically.
