Ataxia (left) and Entropy (right)
(These two refused to be photographed separately.) Entropy and Ataxia are twin brothers who are very close and do everything together. Entropy is the leader of the two, as Ataxia is more likely to follow his lead than to lead himself; it appears Entropy has more brash surety in himself, whereas Ataxia can be more unsure, particularly in unfamiliar situations. They know each other so well that they are able to speak quietly and quickly, using a sort of shorthand language, and fully understand each other without anyone else having any idea what they are saying. They have virtually no interest in talking to other people, and as such, very little is known about them. (If someone approaches them and tries to interact with them, they generally fall silent and stare coldly until the person goes away.) However, the sharp, almost vicious look in their eyes, and the slight sneers on their lips when they talk, leads most people to believe that they are saying rather unpleasant things. It was a shock to almost everyone in the neighbourhood when they not only spoke to Umbra, but also allowed him to become their constant companion and friend.

Umbra
Umbra is a bad boy. Forget Ish or Okra's little mischiefs -- Umbra is downright evil. He likes to cause trouble, real trouble, and he doesn't seem to care who gets hurt. He moved to the area fairly recently, and rumour has it he caused so much trouble in his old area that he was chased out of town by angry citizens. He only wears black and tends to glower and be quite moody, and most people learn very quickly to get out of his way if they don't want to get a punch in the head. Surprisingly, though, he latched onto the twins very quickly, perhaps sensing kindred spirits, and spends a lot of time with them. He seems calmer when with them, and causes less havoc, so inexplicable as it may be, nobody is complaining about the unlikely friendship. The only real question on everyone's lips is why on earth he wears his hair in pigtails, but nobody is game to ask him. There are also whispered rumours that he comes from a split family, and that something involving that split is what made him so damn mean and spiteful, but nobody who's ever mentioned it to him has survived the encounter without broken bones.
